Systems Engineer- Direct Placement (REMOTE)

Responsibilities

  • Act as a subject matter expert and first line support contact for all CRM systems and related processes, with focus on Interaction, Foundation and Pitch Perfect systems
  • Participate in planning, development, and implementation of upgrades, new modules, and related on-site applications
  • Investigate and resolve complex technical issues, escalating to vendors as appropriate
  • Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure
  • Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, or 5+ years of equivalent experience
  • Experience supporting Interaction or other CRM Systems, Management Systems and Pitch and Proposal Software
  • Experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
  • Experience with system administration, such as provisioning and managing servers, deploying databases, security monitoring, system patching, and managing internal and external network connectivity.
  • Previous experience supporting on site applications
  • Knowledge of SSRS reporting
  • Knowledge of SQL, although DBA level not necessary
  • Knowledge of Ruby and Python
  • Knowledge of Integration Services (SSIS) packages

Payroll Specialist- Contract- Houston, TX

We’re actively recruiting for an experienced Payroll Specialist for a client in Houston, TX. The Payroll Specialist will perform data updates to the firm’s financial and payroll systems as required to ensure employee compensation data is accurate and in compliance with all applicable payroll and tax laws.  

Responsibilities

  • Update general ledger and payroll files by creating Journal Entries
  • Ensure compliance with governmental laws on payroll accounting and taxes 
  • Prepare payroll for up to 1500 employees in domestic offices on a semi-monthly basis
  • Set-up, Maintain and audit employee new hire and termination information in HRIS system
  • Prepare and transmit payroll check data electronically to bank to verify check authenticity and authorize payment.
  • Prepare appropriate spreadsheets for international offices.
  • Communicate with offices and verify all data, authorize, and record funding and create appropriate GL entries.
  • Preparation of all monthly non-U.S. payroll and maintain employee banking information in software system used to transfer the funds as well as notify the employee of transfer
  • Special projects such as salary surveys, special payroll reports

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 3-5 years of prior work experience in payroll or, equivalent
  • Strong HRIS payroll system knowledge.
  • Familiar with payroll compliance and reporting requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to multi-task and problem-solving skills
  • Strong computer/data entry skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills

Benefits Specialist- Contract- College Station, TX & Houston, TX

We’re looking to add a Benefits Specialist to the team of top clients in College Station, TX and Houston, TX. The Benefits Specialist will have shared responsibility for administration of the company’s health and welfare programs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for internal and external employees and team members via phone and email
  • Review renewal information provided by broker for premium adjustments, plan changes and assist with recommendations to executive management
  • Implement premium rate and/or plan changes in system prior to employee self-service enrollment
  • Review and process timely and accurate benefit enrollments for new hires, terminations, and qualifying life events with proper supporting documentation
  • Administer 401K enrollments and terminations including employee loans, employee distributions, compliance testing, Form 5500 filing, COBRA, etc.
  • Coordinate Leave of Absence Program (i.e., FMLA, Disability, etc.) between outsourced administrator, human resources, and payroll team
  • Provide support regarding new legislation/regulations and the implementation as it applies to the company’s welfare plans
  • Conduct training sessions related to benefit plans, i.e., new hire enrollment, open enrollment, retiree insurance presentations
  • Prepare a variety of reports and review system specifications and data interfaces to identify irregularities and troubleshoot issues

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years’ experience in a Benefits role
  • Extensive knowledge of employee benefits and all pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements
  • Project and time management skills, with the ability to deal with fluctuating workload

Senior Proposal Coordinator- Direct Placement (REMOTE)

Responsibilities

  • Develop task matrices and summarize the evaluation criteria to guide the proposal team during proposal development
  • Prepare all supporting proposal development documentation (outline, page allocation, team assignments, proposal management plan, schedule, kick-off meeting, review/executive review meetings.
  • Analyze Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Quotes (RFQs), and Requests for Proposal (RFPs) to identify requirements for proposal submittal.
  • Work closely with required departments (safety, quality, environmental, operations, etc.) to obtain required information for RFP responses.
  • Assist in developing and supporting the proposal response. Includes writing draft work plans, proofing, editing, formatting
  • Analyze Contract terms and conditions to complete Legal Review Request form

Required Skills/Abilities:
